Sales Trainer

Position Type: Retail Sales Training

Location: Based in Billings, Montana, and travel to all Cellular Plus locations

What is a Sales Trainer at Cellular Plus responsible for?

You are highly experienced and successful in providing sales training to team members of all skill levels. You engage our sales teams by setting a positive example and using a variety of training methods such as role playing, team exercises, and group discussions. You work with a team of outstanding Sales Trainers, the Lead Sales Trainer, and Managers to provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and motivation across the organization. You ensure exceptional performance and smooth operation of our sales teams while contributing to the strategic development of Cellular Plus.     

  • Inspiring sales teams with training and coaching to deliver the highest standard Cellular Plus guest experience.
  • Ensuring Store Managers and Wireless Sales Consultants are properly trained on new wireless technology, service plans, and best practices related to guest service, sales, and operations according to policies and procedures.
  • Analyzing and addressing areas of improvement for the sales teams to help meet and exceed individual sales goals and achieve organizational goals.
  • Keeping open communication with Territory Managers, District Managers, and Human Resource to participate in recruitment activities.
  • Ensuring smooth operations in each store by auditing sales transactions and addressing any issues appropriately.    
  • Attending ongoing paid training to ensure your continued success as a Sales Trainer.

Are you prepared to join the Cellular Plus team?

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited higher education institution.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a related field such as sales, sales training, sales management, etc.
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate teams to achieve positive results.
  • Ability to build trust and influence others effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to commit to a travel schedule in collaboration with the team.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
